08 · Territory
Your territory
Not a radius. A map with your name on it.
A mapped, protected territory of roughly 60,000–90,000 residents, drawn on census boundaries around your site and attached to your agreement. You’ll know street by street what is yours — and online orders placed inside it are fulfilled by you and credited to you.
Three of the six founding territories are signed — Burlington–Hamilton, York Region and Durham Region remain open. Founding franchisees also hold first refusal on an adjacent second territory — a cohort right.

The Founding Cohort 2026
The founding terms
Capped at six. In writing.
$125,000
Founding franchise fee — $25,000 below the standard $150,000. Your $20,000 refundable deposit counts toward it.
6% year one
Reduced ongoing fees for your first twelve months — royalty, marketing and technology together — then 8%.
Up to 20 years
10-year term + two 5-year renewals. Your term starts when you open — not when you sign.
Six only
The program closes at the sixth signed agreement or December 31, 2026 — whichever comes first.
Plan for a total initial investment in the range of $595,000–$910,000 including the fee, before HST — confirmed line by line, for your exact site, in your disclosure package.

We don’t do vague. We do disclosure.
Sign the NDA and the books open: the actual revenues of both corporate cafés, a full three-scenario earnings model, every assumption with its stated basis, and the break-even math — inside a complete Ontario disclosure package, delivered as one document, with 14 days and your own advisors to test all of it.

This is the actual structure of the earnings model in Item 19 of your disclosure package — three revenue scenarios, every cost line, both actual cafés’ revenues alongside it, and every assumption stated with its basis. Every value is filled in, and the substantiation file is open for inspection. The only thing between you and the numbers is a signature that costs you nothing.
12 · The path
The path
From this conversation to opening day.
- NDA — one signature opens everything confidential, including the full proposal and the numbers.
- Letter of intent — two ways to sign it. Standard: no deposit, no region lock — your disclosure and review proceed all the same. Territory lock, where a region is offered to you: a $20,000 fully refundable deposit locks that region while you decide — refundable in full, without deduction, and it cannot bind you.
- Your disclosure package — one complete document. The whole deal, in writing. Your signed acknowledgment of receipt starts the clock.
- 14 days with your lawyer and accountant — Ontario law requires it; we encourage it. Our own qualification review runs in parallel, so day 15 is ready when you are.
- Signing — day 15 at the earliest, any deposit credited in full against the fee. If you haven’t signed within 21 days of receiving your disclosure package (the 14-day review plus a week), the region lock simply ends and your deposit is refunded in full — automatically.
- Site, build, open — site approved within 6 months, doors open within 12, founders beside you.
No step before signing commits either side. And a locked region is not a closed door: if its holder does not proceed to signing, it releases — and the next interested candidate is considered. Tell us the region you want either way.

Whichever comes first.
Three of the six territories are already signed. The first signature costs you nothing — and looking never obligates you. Only the territory is scarce.
